This trip I took to a small Thai village near Bangkok left me with unforgettable memories. I had the opportunity to meet the only Muslim family living in this village and witnessed their daily lives and culture. I was very happy when they told me that we were their first Turkish guests. This cultural exchange allowed me to get to know different faces of Thailand. I tried local foods and learned a lot about Thai culture.

In Thailand, especially in rural areas, the Muslim population is quite rare. Meeting this family allowed me to better understand their cultural heritage and daily lives. From local foods to their religious rituals, I experienced many things and I cannot wait to share them with you. The lives of Thai Muslim families also bear some similarities to Turkish culture.
Thai Food and Cultural Experiences
The conversations I had with the Muslim family in this village and the local foods I tried gave me a completely different perspective on Thai culture.
