During a world tour, there are moments when you push your body's limits, and in those moments, you may start to feel unwell. When I was in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, I faced such a situation. I had become overly exhausted and hadn't received enough vitamins. In such cases, I generally prefer to recover using natural methods I apply myself rather than going to a doctor. In this post, I will share with you how I healed myself and my hitchhiking adventure to Tajikistan.
Natural Healing Methods: The Miracle of Garlic and Ginger
When I started feeling unwell in Samarkand, I immediately turned to natural methods like garlic and ginger powder. I knew that swallowing garlic strengthens the immune system and that ginger powder is effective in fighting inflammation. After using these two miraculous foods, I consumed healthy snacks like walnuts, almonds, and raisins to boost my energy levels. These methods really worked, and I started feeling better in a short time.
Hitchhiking to Tajikistan: The Journey to Dushanbe
After healing myself, I decided to set off for Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan. Hitchhiking to Tajikistan became one of the most exciting experiences of my world tour. However, this journey became even more interesting due to a small mishap I experienced at the border.
The police officer who saw my passport at the border couldn't initially understand what it was and told me I needed to get a visa. I explained that I had a special green passport and did not need a visa, but it took about an hour for this situation to be clarified. Fortunately, they eventually realized I was right and allowed me to enter Tajikistan. This experience showed once again that you must be prepared for anything at any time while traveling.
My First Impressions of Tajikistan
When I set foot in Tajikistan, I was mesmerized by the country's mountainous geography and natural beauty. As I traveled toward Dushanbe, the warmth and hospitality of the local people impressed me. Tajikistan is truly a country worth exploring with its challenging natural conditions and cultural richness.
In this post, I shared what I did when I got sick during my world tour and my hitchhiking adventure to Tajikistan. When traveling, learning to listen to your body and healing with natural methods is important for maintaining your health on long-term journeys.
