When my Korean partner heard that I would be fasting during Ramadan, they asked, "Why are you doing this to yourself?" I explained to them that this act of worship isn't just about being hungry, but about understanding those in need more deeply and remembering the importance of tolerance and charity. Once they understood my explanation, they said they wanted to try it. So I told them, "Get ready then, I'm going to wake you up at 4 AM, and you're going to eat and drink water as if your life depends on it." They accepted!
A Fun Iftar Preparation After Suhoor
