After hitchhiking all the way to China, I decided to continue my journey to the heart of the Far East, South Korea. However, this time I had to choose air travel instead of the road. I spent all my remaining savings on a Korean Air economy class ticket to fly from Beijing to Seoul. Korean Air Economy Class Flight: What Did I Experience?
My flight with Korean Air was much more challenging than I had expected. From my experiences at the airport before the flight to the comfort of the seats on the plane, I will detail everything in this section. Especially on long flights, the comfort of the seats and the general atmosphere of the aircraft are among the most important factors determining the quality of the journey. In this post, I share with you the services provided by Korean Air, the meals, and the difficulties I encountered throughout the trip.
Pre-Flight Preparations and Airport Experience
During my final days in China, I decided to buy a plane ticket with the last of my money. When I arrived at Beijing Airport, I was exhausted both physically and mentally. The difficulties I faced during the check-in process and the security stages I went through to get to Korea were quite challenging at the start of this journey. Long queues and the language barrier, in particular, made the process even more difficult.

When I boarded the plane, the first thing I noticed was how narrow and cramped the seats were. Korean Air's economy class seats are not very comfortable for tall or larger passengers. The meal options provided during the service were limited, but it was still a nice touch to offer flavors from Asian cuisine. Seoul at the End of the Flight: The First Step in South Korea
When I landed in Seoul, I was finally in the capital of South Korea after this challenging flight. Despite the difficulties I faced during the flight and the narrow seats on the plane, reaching the end of this journey brought a great sense of relief. I was excited about what awaited me in Seoul and couldn't wait to start my next adventure.
