My Experience Earning Money by Playing the Ukulele in South Korea
One of the reasons I stayed in South Korea for a long time was that I was earning money by playing my ukulele on the streets. When my first ukulele broke, I bought a new one by working at a doner kebab shop. Afterwards, with the money I earned playing on the streets, I both renewed my passport and covered my travel expenses. This method not only provided me with an income but also restored my freedom to travel.
Surviving Through Street Performance
I started earning money on the streets by learning to play the ukulele from YouTube videos. The money I earned in the first few days was enough to cover my basic needs. Over time, I began to earn more money with this method and was able to continue my travels. Street art can be a creative way to survive and discover new places during periods of economic crisis.
