I Became Famous in Azerbaijan: Interview with Baku Space TV
The time I spent in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, was crowned with one of the most memorable moments of my world tour. In this post, I will share how I caught the attention of Space TV while playing the ukulele and selling bracelets on Baku’s famous Torgovaya Street, how I subsequently did an interview for the evening broadcast, and how I explained the hitchhiking culture in Azerbaijan.
A Story That Began on Baku’s Torgovaya Street
Baku is a fascinating city with both its historical richness and modern lifestyle. Torgovaya Street is one of the places where the heart of this city beats. While I was playing the ukulele and selling bracelets on this famous street, many people stopped to listen to my music and showed interest in my handmade bracelets. However, the biggest surprise of the day was catching the attention of Space TV, one of Azerbaijan’s popular television channels.
Interview with Space TV
After noticing me on Torgovaya, the Space TV crew chatted with me for a while. Then, they said they wanted to do a special interview for that evening's broadcast. I didn't want to miss this opportunity to share details about my world tour and the hitchhiking culture in Azerbaijan. I went to a special location with the Space TV team and the interview was conducted. On the broadcast, I explained to the Azerbaijani public how enjoyable and safe it is to hitchhike and recounted the experiences I had gained during my world tour.
Memories and Experiences in Baku
This interview I did with Space TV in Baku was one of the most valuable experiences I gained during my world tour. The hospitality and cultural richness in Azerbaijan made this country unforgettable for me. This journey, which extended from music-filled moments on Torgovaya Street to a television broadcast, showed once again how important it is not just to travel, but also to connect with different cultures.
Conclusion
The time I spent in Azerbaijan showed that a world tour is not just a travel experience, but also an opportunity for personal growth and connecting with different cultures. My interview with Space TV will remain as one of the most memorable moments of my world tour. This blog post serves as a guide for those who want to explore the beauties of Baku and the surprises you may encounter while traveling.
